🚀 Getting Started (First Time Setup)

The app runs directly on your device. Because it works offline, it needs to download your ranch's data the very first time you open it.

1. Open the app.
2. It should automatically say "⏳ Downloading..." at the bottom.
3. Wait a few seconds until it turns green and says "✅ DATA REFRESHED!".
4. Your Ranches, Pastures, Lots, Protocols, and Medications are now loaded!

📝 How to Enter a Record

Step 1: Enter the Tag #
You must start here. The "Action" dropdown is locked to prevent skipping steps. Once you type a tag number, the app unlocks the rest of the form.
Smart Feature: The app instantly searches the tag's history. If it recognizes the tag, an alert box shows past records, its assigned Lot, and Est. Weight.
Smart Feature: It auto-fills the last Ranch and Pasture the animal was in!

Step 2: Check the Date
Defaults to today. Tap to change if entering old records. (Exact time is saved behind the scenes).

Step 3: Select Location
Pick the Ranch, and the Pasture list shrinks to match.
🔄 Recall: Instantly loads the Ranch/Pasture from the previous record.
❌ Clear: Empties the location fields.

Step 4: Verify Lot #
If recognized by the Tag, it auto-fills and turns gray (locked). If brand-new, it remains white and you MUST select a Lot from the dropdown menu.
Smart Feature: Selecting a valid Lot or tapping 🔄 Recall will immediately show you the estimated weight for that group, even if the tag is new!

Step 5: Pick the Action
You can manually select an action, or tap 🔄 Recall to repeat the last action you logged.
Smart Warning: If you select "Second Pull" without a "First Pull" on record, it will pop up a warning to double check!
If you select Dead, meds disappear and it asks if it was "Drug Off."

Step 6: Medications & Dosage
Auto-Dose: Selecting an Action automatically loads the Protocol you set in your Google Sheet. It then calculates the exact CC dosage for you based on the Estimated Weight!

Step 7: Save Record
Add Notes, and tap Save Record. The form clears for the next tag.

📊 Managing Your Data

• View History: Bottom of screen shows 5 most recent.
• Search: Type a tag number in the 🔍 Search Bar to find history.
• Edit: Tap yellow Edit to reload into the top form, then Update.
• Delete: Tap red Del, it turns black ("Sure?"), tap again to delete permanently.
• View Today's Report: Tap the gray 📊 button for a quick summary.
• Pull Cloud History: Tap the blue 🔄 button to sync teammates' data.

🛠️ Troubleshooting Guide

1. Dropdown menus are empty!
Fix: Tap the blue "🔄 Pull Cloud History" button.

2. "Action" dropdown is grayed out.
Fix: You must type a number into the Tag # box first to unlock it.

3. "Lot #" field turned gray and won't let me change it.
Fix: The app found the tag in the system and locked the Lot # to prevent accidental mismatches. New tags will be white and selectable.

4. Medication dosage isn't calculating.
Fix: Auto-dose requires an Estimated Weight (which requires an arrival date & weight in your Google Sheet Lot data). Ensure the Lot # is selected.

5. I accidentally deleted a record. Can I get it back?
Fix: Once deleted on the device, you will need to manually re-enter the record.

6. I keep getting a "🛑 STOP" alert.
Fix: Read the alert carefully! You are trying to give a duplicate "First Pull" or treat a "Dead" animal.

7. "Pull Cloud History" button turns red ("❌ Data Error").
Fix: Check your internet connection.
